As a result of additional trout being made available, 18 additional adult trout stockings have been announced by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC)

PA will receive 21,000 “bonus” trout from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Lamar National Fish Hatchery and Northeast Fishery Center.

While the center is under contract to provide the PFBC with 100,000 adult trout annually, the additional fish are a surplus, offering extra fishing opportunities to fishermen and women in PA.
